Day by day

1. Day 1

   Journey to the Masai Mara & Afternoon Game Drive

   Begin the day with an early morning drive towards the magnificent Masai Mara National Reserve, one of Kenya’s most celebrated wildlife destinations. As part of the greater Serengeti ecosystem, the Mara is renowned for its abundant wildlife, open grasslands and the seasonal movement of wildebeest and zebras accompanied by predators. Enjoy the changing scenery along the way before arriving in time for lunch at your lodge. After some relaxation, head out for an afternoon game drive, searching for lions, elephants, buffaloes, cheetahs, giraffes, zebras and other wildlife across the Mara plains.

2. Day 2

   Big Five, Mara River & Maasai Culture

   Start the day with an early morning game drive across the Masai Mara, searching for lions, elephants, buffaloes, leopards, cheetahs, giraffes, zebras and wildebeest. For an unforgettable experience, you can choose an optional hot-air balloon safari at an extra cost, offering stunning sunrise views over the Mara plains. Continue towards the Mara River, an important wildlife area and a famous Great Migration crossing point. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the reserve before continuing your game drive. In the afternoon, guests can also enjoy an optional Maasai village visit at an extra cost, offering an opportunity to learn about local traditions, culture and daily life before returning to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

3. Day 3

   Masai Mara to Lake Nakuru – Scenic Safari Journey

   After breakfast, enjoy a final morning game drive in the Masai Mara, taking advantage of the cooler hours to search for wildlife across the open plains. Keep watch for lions, elephants, buffaloes, leopards, cheetahs, giraffes, zebras and wildebeest before leaving the reserve. Continue towards Lake Nakuru National Park, enjoying scenic views of the Kenyan countryside along the way. Have lunch en route before arriving at your lodge for check-in and some relaxation. Later, enjoy an afternoon game drive in Lake Nakuru, searching for rhinos, buffaloes, lions, leopards and a variety of birdlife around the lake. Return to the lodge in the evening for dinner and overnight.

4. Day 4

   Lake Nakuru to Aberdare – Scenic Safari

   After breakfast, enjoy a final morning game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park, searching for rhinos, buffaloes, lions, leopards and the park’s diverse birdlife. Later, leave the park and travel towards the beautiful Aberdare region, passing through scenic countryside and local communities. Arrive in time for lunch and check in to your accommodation. Spend the afternoon relaxing or enjoying the surroundings before dinner and overnight in the Aberdare area.

5. Day 5

   Aberdare to Samburu – Into Northern Kenya

   After breakfast, depart Aberdare and travel north towards the spectacular Samburu region. Enjoy the changing scenery as the lush central highlands gradually give way to the drier landscapes of northern Kenya. Arrive in Samburu in time for lunch and check in at your lodge. Later, head out for an afternoon game drive, searching for elephants, lions, leopards, buffaloes, giraffes and Samburu’s unique wildlife, including Grevy’s zebra, reticulated giraffe and gerenuk. Return to the lodge in the evening for dinner and overnight.

6. Day 6

   Full-Day Samburu Wildlife Adventure

   After an early breakfast, set out for a full-day game drive through Samburu National Reserve, exploring its rugged landscapes and diverse habitats. Keep watch for elephants, lions, leopards, buffaloes, cheetahs and other wildlife, as well as species particularly associated with northern Kenya such as Grevy’s zebra, reticulated giraffe, gerenuk and Beisa oryx. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the reserve before continuing your wildlife search in the afternoon. Return to your lodge in the evening for dinner and overnight.

7. Day 7

   Samburu to Nairobi – Safari Finale

   After breakfast, enjoy a final morning game drive in Samburu National Reserve, making the most of the cooler hours to search for wildlife and capture memorable views of the rugged landscape. Later, leave Samburu and begin the journey back to Nairobi, enjoying scenic views of the changing countryside along the way. Stop for lunch en route before continuing to Nairobi, where you will be dropped off at your hotel or preferred location, marking the end of your safari.
